BLANKA VLASIC BEAUTIFUL HIGH JUMPER

Dear readers of sport&beauty. As you will have noticed, sport and beauty are often closely related. That’s the reason why today we’re going to talk about one of the most beautiful female athletes in the world. Besides having dangerous curves, she’s a great athlete, has won many important competitions and is an icon in her country. Today’s post is dedicated to Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlasic. Here you are Blanka Vlasic, a real champion of beauty in and out the athletic track.

Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlašić was born on November 8, 1983 in Split (a Croatian city located on the Adriatic coast) when Croatia was still a Republic of the former Yugoslavia and there were eight years to go before the outbreak of the war in the Balkans. Blanka’s father, Josko Vlasic, was a decathlete that participated in the 1983 Mediterranean Games held in Casablanca representing Yugoslavia. It seems that Josko got lured by the Moroccan city to the extent that he decided to name her newly-born daughter after the African city. Out of curiosity we’ll say that the Vlasic family is an unusual case in the world of sports since father and daughter are national record holders. Josko holds Croatia’s decathlon record since 1984. Blanka Vlasic is naturally gifted for high jump as she’s 193 centimetres tall and weighs 75 kilos. As you can see this Croatian beauty looks nice from the front and the rear. Let’s review Blanka’s athletic career. Aged only sixteen, Blanka unsuccessfully participated in the 2000 Sydney Olimpics. Four years later and aged twenty, Blanka participated in the Athens Olympics obtaining the same bad results than in Sydney's. However, Blanka’s breakthrough was in 2004 when she won the gold medal in the Junior Athletics World Championships and the broze medal in the IAAF World indoor Championships. In 2006 Blanka finished 4th in the high jump final of the European Athletics Championships held in Goteborg being the first woman not to win a medal after having jumped more than 2 meters high. Blanka managed to jump 2.01 meters but she needed more attempts to make it past the bar than the bronze medalist winner, gorgeous Swedish athlete Kajsa Bergqvist. In 2007 Blanka managed to jump over 2 meters high in seventeen out of the nineteen outdoor meetings she participated and made some unsuccessful attempts to break the world record set in 2.10 meters. Blanka won almost every outdoor meeting she participated in and she was only defeated at the Opening meeting of the Golden League held in Oslo. Although she won the remaining Golden League events, this defeat caused her not to get the $1 million jackpot won by other athletes such as Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva and American runner Sanya Richards. Her big break came during the IAAF Outdoor World Championships held in Osaka ( Japan) in 2007 where Blanka won the gold medal with a jump of 2.05 meters. In October 2007 Blanka was recognized by the European Athletes Association as the best female Athlete of the Year being the first Croatian athlete to receive this award. Even when competing, Blanka never forgets about fashion. Have a look at her navel piercing and her nails painted in red matching the red bottom.

In 2008 Beijing Olympics, Blanka suffered her first defeat in thirty four events and probably the most bitter defeat in her long and successful career. She lost to Belgian Tia Hellebaut (the one wearing glasses and looking like a nerd). In spite of the fact that both of them made it past the bar set at 2.05 meters, Blanka needed two attempts while the Belgian had enough with only one. As both of them failed to overcome the next height Blanka finished second winning the silver medal. Anyway, I bet she’ll take revenge in the 2012 London Olympics winning the gold medal and breaking the world record. Do you already know who she is? A couple more hints. She’s a good friend of Paris Hilton and her father was O.J. Simpson’s attorney. I think it’s enough. Today’s post is dedicated to the American model, celebrity, socialite, entrepreneur, actress, and TV personality Kim Kardashian. Here you are American bombshell Kim Kardashian. I really love her curves and so does she.

Kimberly Noel Kardashian was born on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, Califonia, United States of America. Kim is daughter to Robert Kardashian, an attorney in law of Armenian origin, and Kris Houghton. Kim has two sisters (Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian) and one brother (Robert Kardashian). When In 1989, Kim Kardashian’s parents got divorced, her mom became Kris Jenner ( because of her marriage to former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner), and Kim added a sizable set of stepbrothers (Burton and Brandon Jenner and reality star Brody Jenner) and stepsisters (Casey Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner). As her father was quite a wealthy man, Kim grew up in a privileged environment attending the best schools, eating at the best restaurants and wearing clothes from top brands and fashion designers.

Because of their posh and lavish way of life, the Kardashian family have always been surrounded by celebrities and Kim Kardashian is intimate friend with Paris Hilton with whom she used to attend each and every party in Los Angeles. Although Paris may have contributed to boost Kim’s fame, the Hilton heiress is just one of many Kim Kardashian’s distinguished friends.

Kim Kardashian’s prívate life might well deserve to be plot for a film. Kim has been romantically linked to pop star Nick Lachey, rap star The Game, actor Nick Cannon, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and R&B producer Damon Thomas to whom she was married between 2000 and 2004. In April 2010 Kim became apparently involved with Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo with whom she was seen making out at a restaurant in Madrid. After that, she dated Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin until August 2010 although she has admitted that she and Austin are indeed dating. However, it was her relationship with R&B member and former Kim's boyfriend Ray J which drew attention from the media and the great public. Their relationship came to light when the yellow press started to report that one of the videotapes recording their relations had been leaked. In spite of the fact that, in the beginning, Kimberly denied the existence of such a videotape, in the end it was confirmed when the tape was sold to Vivid Video for $1 million. Although Kim Kardashian herself was suspected to have leaked the videotape, she hurriedly denied that either her boyfriend or she had been involved in its sale and distribution. Kim sued Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape but finally dropped the suit settling with Vivid Entertainment for $5 million.

In 2007, Kim started dating NFL star Reggie Bush whom she met at the ESPY awards ceremony. The couple broke up in July 2009 although they came back in October. Apart from the videotape affair, Kim Kardashian also posed for a sultry editorial in the 2007 December issue of the Playboy magazine. Kim said it hadn’t been a comfortable experience and she was sorry about it claiming that had been urged to do so by mother Kris Jenner to promote their "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" TV show. Nevertheless, Kim felt more comfortable when she did the same for Harper’s Bazaar. Anyway Kim Kardashian likes to show off her curvy body and she’s very proud of it. Kim has also tried her luck as an actress starting with a small role in the TV series “Beyond the Break”. On the upper right it features another La Martina khaki patch and a bunch of letters with the inscription LM BA. I guess it means La Martina Buenos Aires. Dear readers of sport&beauty. Today we’re traveling to Sweden to meet one of the representatives of the new crop of Swedish models. Today’s guest has walked for Givenchy, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Marc Jacobs and graced the covers of Elle Sweden and Elle Italy. She’s not as renowned as Mini Anden or Helen Swedin though. As you may have probably guessed our post is going to be dedicated to the Swedish model Elsa Sylvan. Here you are Elsa Sylvan a beautiful Swedish model. I think she’s nice and lovely but a little too skinny for my likes.

Elsa Sylvan was born in Stockholm on January 23, 1987. Elsa, aka “young Adina” because of her resemblance with supermodel Adina Fohlin, was discovered in Grona Lund, an amusement park near Stockholm. Don’t you believe that fashion magazines forgot about Elsa. In 2008 Elsa Sylvan was in high demand and appeared in several editorials for Harper’s Bazaar UK (March), and Numéro (April and May), W (June photographed by Craig McDean), and Elle Germany (September). Elsa was also photographed by Fabien Baron for French Connection and Steven Meisel for Calvin Klein Jeans along with fellow models Toni Garrn and Ali Stephens. The Swedish model also graced the covers of Muse and Velvet and, finally, she appeared in Marie Claire Italy (November) and Elle Italy (December).

Dear readers of sport&beauty. Let’s resume today our review to the issue of celebrities and breast enlargement. You’ll remember that Gemma Atkinson was the last celebrity included in our previous post. Today we are going to start with American singer Brooke Hogan. Brooke’s breast was the object of a hot debate between those who claim that is natural and a majority that considers that she has visited the plastic surgeon. The debate started after Brooke’s performance in a radio show in Charlotte. Brooke’s music was the same but the audience noticed that something had changed. The difference was the size of her breast. I think that it’s much more round now so I’ll join the side of those who believe she got a boob job done. Here you are her picture before and after the alleged operation. Which one do you prefer?.

Let’s move on. Now it’s turn for Chantelle Houghton a British socialite that gained some notoriety in the British celebrity Big Brother. It’s clear se got a boob job done. In my opinion even her face looks brighter and different.

It’s crystal clear that Australian singer Danii Minogue has had a boob job done. Danii has admitted undergoing surgery to improve her appearance although she also claimed it doesn’t make her happier. In addition to her bust enlargement, I think it’s obvious she also fixed her nose and put in some botox.

Our next guest is British singer Cheryl Cole. Cheryl has always denied she underwent surgery to enlarge her bust but I think the difference in size is obvious. If you don’t believe me you can have a look and decide by yourselves.

Model, celebrity, and entrepreneur Ivanka Trump has always denied having undergone a breast enlargement operation. Rumors say Ivanka went to Mexico to undergo surgery. She will say whatever she wants to but I think her bra size has greatly increased between both pictures.

Let’s conclude talking about former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, aka Mel B. It’s impossible not to realize that Mel shows off a breast that she didn’t have in her old times with the Spice Girls. What’s the reason for this change??? Best regards.

Our post is going to be dedicated to one of these Brazilian gorgeous women that show off their good looks on the catwalks and magazines worldwide. I really love them. The model we’re presenting today is one of the youngest and most promising members of the new breed of Brazilian models. Here you are some clues so you can make an educated guess. She’s younger than Cintia Dicker, Caroline Trentini, and Jeisa Chiminazzo. She started her modeling career in 2005. She’s appeared several times in such important fashion magazines as L’Officiel, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour and starred in ad campaigns for D&G and Levi’s. Do you already know who she is? Bingo. Today’s post is dedicated to Brazilian model Monique Olsen. Here you are Monique Olsen, a real Brazilian stunning beauty.

Monique Grotto Olsen was born on September 2, 1990 in Lages, Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. From a very early age, Monique Olsen started to stand out for her beauty and in 2003 she ranked second in the Brazilian “Riachuelo Mega Models” contest. We have to admit that this contest is not as important as the “Ford Models” but, at least, she got off to a good start. In 2005 and aged fifteen, Monique Olsen signed a contract with Women Management agency and made her debut walking for Calvin Klein’s Fall fashion show in New York. In the same year, Monique also walked in Milan for Jil Sander‘s 2005 Fall collection and Anna Molinari, Dolce & Gabbana, Just Cavalli, Missoni, and Salvatore Ferragamo’s 2006 Spring collections. Finally, in December 2005 Monique appeared in Vogue Italy photographed by Maciel Kobielski. What beautiful legs she has!!!

2006 was also a frantic year for the beautiful Monique Olsen.
